Last Thursday (October 16th, 2008) I went to Surabaya, attending the ITS (Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember) Job Fair 2008, along with Fanny A.K.A. Chebby, Muhlis A.K.A. Ucit, and Dimas A.K.A. Samid. We went by Fanny’s car. All of us wanted to use this opportunity to apply some available positions in some promising companies. It was only me who hadn’t been graduated yet (d’oh!).
After having some annoying (but full of experiences
) incidents with the car, we arrived at the site about 12 pm. We changed our shirts, washed our faces, then we entered the "Graha ITS" building to do some surveys first, before entering aour applications. I met some friends there, such as Rahmad, Intan, Edy, Adit, Zaini, Huri, Ariza, Habibi, and more. Inside the building, we searched for any electric socket to plug in the laptop and printer that we brought from home, as we hadn’t printed our application letters yet
.
Since we’re not allowed to plug inside the building, we placed our laptop, printer, and other equipments right in front of the building, under the stairs. So not only the companies had their own booths inside the building, we –the job seekers– also had our own "booth"
, as depicted in the pictures below, taken with Nokia 3230:

At exactly 4 pm we left the site. We dropped Samid near the bus station (he’s going back to work the day after), picked up Kaes at the airport (he came from Banjarmasin), then we had a very nice supper at Pandaan, sponsored by Kaes. Here are the pictures, unfortunately my phone battery went dead just before I took a picture with myself in it..

Besides being able to get any opportunity of being employed by desired companies, I consider that day’s journey as an unforgettable gathering. We had so much fun. I hope we could do such a journey more often..

). However, that Ucit’s printer helped very much. It did.
We didn’t consider whether the printer printed slowly or fast, since we didn’t have much choice in such a tight schedule (and budget

Hahaha… I knew that place!!
I think u should place your ‘booth’ into more strategic place. So u can earn some money with your ‘emergency tools’.
