Lionel Messi - Carlos TevezWhat a resenting-usual match. That was what I thought as a Barça fan about the first half of last night match, FC Barcelona versus Manchester United FC, at Camp Nou Stadium, Barcelona. I only saw a usual behavior of Barcelona team. They looked suppressing their opponents almost all the time, but without any good finishing at all emoticon. They acted like they had been superior by one or two goals ahead United and no longer need to score at the game. In fact, they had to maximize the opportunity of playing at their home ground at first leg. And I don’t think the Catalan team could win the second leg easily, regarding United’s fantastic records of home matches.

Nevertheless, The Red Devils played quite well emoticon. As the visitors, they applied Alex Ferguson’s tactics remarkably. They waited on Barcelona’s attacks patiently, thickened the defense wall as the adversaries dominated the ball possession, and then gave fast dangerous shocking counter attacks through Wayne Rooney, Carlos Tevez, and the superstar Cristiano Ronaldo. They seemed to be downhearted after Ronaldo failed to score from the penalty kick given by the referee due to Gabriel Milito’s handball, but they amazingly came up moments after, and then gave a strong resistance.

Cesc FabregasArsenal stormed into the Quarter-Finals of the Champions League after a magnificent victory at Milan on Tuesday evening. It was a huge night for Arsène Wenger’s side. They were up against not only the holders but Europe’s most successful side in recent years and, at home, their bright campaign had been stuttering of late. But they responded with a performance of determination, poise and patience. It was capped five minutes from time by a goal from. Along with Mathieu Flamini, the Spaniard had dominated the famous names in the Milan midfield. Perhaps it was a new-found respect that meant they afford him a little too much space to let fly from fully 30 yards.

As the ball bounced into the net, the Arsenal fans erupted. Fabregas slid on his knees towards the dug-out then ran off kissing the badge on this shirt. [ Click here to read more.. ]

My old bikeI rode my old bike again this morning. I left at 6:20, after watching a quite entertaining football match on TV, Real Zaragoza versus FC Barcelona. Thank God Barcelona won the game, so I got no more disappointment after watching Arsenal beaten in FA Cup last night. The weather was so cold when I left home, but unlike last mornings, it didn’t rain. I brought my breakfast in my "The Killers" bag and enough money to buy newspaper and mineral water. I planned to have my breakfast at the countryside, far from the city’s polluted air. Hmmm.. emoticon [ Click here to read more.. ]

TechnologyLast Friday, me and my classmates had to give a short speech of given topics, in order to complete the current level of our English course. Thanks to Veeani for the assistance Big Grin. Here was my speech, more or less:

Assalaamu ‘alaikum wa rohmatullaah wa barokaatuh.

Good evening. First of all, I would like to express my gratitude to honorable Mr. Johny. In this occasion I would like to extend my topic, it is about The Impact of Technology.

Everyday we cannot live without technology. We wake up in the morning, we take a bath, we have breakfast, we do our daily activities, all are affected by something called technology. [ Click here to read more.. ]

Hot Fuzz PosterIf you like comedies, especially "black comedies" like You Kill Me, or "European comedies" like Taxi, I think you’re gonna love this movie. Get prepared for having a stiff stomach because of laughter! emoticon But beware, you better don’t watch this movie along with underage children, ‘cause there are a lot of explicit violence. Disturbing scenes like in Final Destination also often appear, so I don’t think it would be suitable for you to watch this movie while having your meals, especially if you can’t stand watching them without having stomachache. emoticon

This movie tells you a story about a police officer in London who has wonderful achievements. Funny things happened after he was transferred to a village named Sanford, which had the lowest criminal rate in England. How does the officer deal with many strange customs he’d never seen in London? Just watch the movie.

Recommended! emoticon

Ubuntu Muslim Edition 7.10 (Gutsy Gibbon). That’s the operating system running on my machine right now. I just installed this version of Ubuntu couple weeks ago, right after I bought my notebook. But why Linux? Why Ubuntu? Why Muslim Edition? And why 7.10 (Gutsy Gibbon)?

Why?
First question. Why Linux? It has been common now, that Linux has become more powerful than it was, both technically and socially. Technically, because it is supported by millions of open source software developers around the globe. Socially, because many people migrated from the paid operating system they used to use, to the free one. If you could use something which is legally free, why should you choose the others which are not? In Linux installer CD/DVDs, there are many application softwares included in, such as office applications, Internet applications, games, and more. So you don’t have to do any extra effort to look for common applications to install.

The second question. Why Ubuntu? [ Click here to read more.. ]

Bemazir BhuttoLast night I was shocked. When I was watching Scooby Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed movie on the television, a breaking news suddenly appeared. It was Benazir Bhutto’s death. She was shot before she entered her bullet-proof car, after her political campaign. She was shot twice at her neck and her chest. After that, the man who shot her blew himself out. And the explosion killed at least 20 people around him (if I’m not mistaken). What a dirty politics! emoticon

Not only the people in Pakistan got angry. Most people in the world cursed the murder. I hope there will be no more violence in this beautiful world.. emoticon
